In addition to the many art museums and galleries, Bergen is known for its street art and many statues and sculptures. Banksy has been here and local artists like Dolk, AFK and Argus has delighted the city with their works. Bergen has several dedicated areas, where street artists can showcase their latest pieces, like Sentralbadet (which are shown on the map) and the area around Skostredet and Vågsbunnen. You will also find some comissioned walls with great peaces. In Nøstegaten, not far from Sentralbadet, you will find Gategalleriet. Here some of the artist sell some of their works. Also visit Underground Gallery in Kaigaten (Lille Lungegårdsvann area). All the sculptures are of mixed age, some are very old, some quite new. You will find sculptures all over the city. As examples: In the area in front of the KODE galleries you will find work by famous artists. On Torgalmenningen, you can enjoy Bård Breiviks many steel pillars.
