Bergen has two different cruise ports, depending on the size of the ship. The closest one to the city center is at Skoltegrunnskaien. This is just outside Bergenhus Fortress and only a couple of minutes walk away from Bryggen. This port is best suited for the smaller cruise ships. The larges ships has to dock at (funny enough) Dokken, which is located below Nygårdshøyden where the University area of Bergen is. From this port, it is about a 10 minutes walk to the center.
