Bergen has a wide selection and range of restaurants. From inspiring fine dining restaurants - even a
Michelin star restaurant - to more informal and relaxed places with great food and further on to small
and cosy lunch cafes. And of course the normal selection of pizza and burger chains, TGI Fridays and
companions which offer well known menus.
So, which are the best restaurants here ? What are, in our opinion, the coolest places at the moment,
with the best food and the right elements of "hygge". We here give you a small seletion of places to visit.
Covid-19 has affected the restaurant scene in Bergen. Many have closed down, but fortunately new ones
are now popping up. We continue to explore and expand this list continously (updated 2022).
