Bergen is a great place to shop. The city center has a wide selection of boutiques and speciality
stores. In the Torgalmenningen area and Strandgaten you will find the most exclusive. Small
designershops and boutiques in the area of Skostredet, Hollendergaten and Øvregaten (by the
funicular). If you are in the hunt for typical Norwegian products, souvenirs and wool sweaters,
Bryggen and Torget (the Fish market) is the best place to visit.
You can also find several exclusive shopping malls within a small area, like Galleriet, Exhibition
and Telegrafen, which are located just across the street from each other. Kløverhuset and Sundt
are just a couple minutes away but are currently under refurbishment. The larger Bergen
Storsenter is next to the Library, Railwaystation and Bus terminal.
